This a must try! The ambiance calls out date night. The service leaves you with a smile. We went for brunch and we both were hands down happy with our choices. My only regret is that I have brought my wife here sooner. The Whiskey selection is Amazing! I am coming back. I cannot leave this review without saying the mushroom fries were superb.

I had Bosscat bookmarked for the longest time, and I finally got around to stopping by... it was well worth the wait The exterior is modern and chic. Everything outside (patio, entryway, signage, etc) is as clean and tastefully put together as the decor inside. The interior is both elegant and somewhat eclectic. There is plenty of seating. The decor and fixtures pop out but in an appealing way. There is a fully stocked bar and a very neat and gorgeous whiskey tasting room The staff were exceptional. Everyone was beyond pleasant, polite, and professional. The entryway door was opened for us long before we stepped inside. We were seating immediately, and had our choice of seats. We were greeted by our server who was fantastic. The menu was briefly reviewed with us. Our drinks and appetizer came out in a timely manner, and was quickly followed by the rest of our meal. Our appetizers were packed up togo, and when we could barely eat one more morsel the rest of our meal was packed up. It was incredible service I love their brunch menu. There is something for everyone, and you can find all the classics... most with a slightly elevated or fusion take. The cocktails are solid. Everything was amazing. It was a delightful experience Some tips: Self parking is somewhat limited. You can find it along the streets that surround the shopping area. They also have a valet. The cinnamon roll is a MUST. It is absolutely massive, rich, and the roll consistency is less doughy and more layered almost like a filo dough. You can also make reservations online. I would suggest going in a group and sharing plates, because everything is tasty, instagramable, and relatively affordable Cheers!!

It's always one of my favorite go-tos. Went for happy hour and the only complaint that I have is their valet closes every parking spot surrounding the restaurant at 3 pm...it's ridiculous The drinks are always of great presentation and taste. The food was very flavorful and fresh.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top-tier cocktails, incredible food, and standout service—Bosscat is a must-stop in Houston. We kicked things off with my go-to cocktail—a Whiskey Sour with egg white, made with Maker’s Mark Cask Strength. And let me tell you… it’s officially the best Whiskey Sour I’ve ever had. Smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. I’d come back for that drink alone. My wife went with Libations #11—a rye-based egg white sour with almond syrup. Light, nutty, and refreshing. We came in for Houston Restaurant Weeks, and the 3-course dinner delivered on every level. Appetizers: • The Pig Candy—pork belly glazed in rye whiskey caramel with toasted sesame and kimchi—was out of this world. I could’ve eaten it all night. • I had the Lettuce Bites—grilled chicken in gem lettuce cups with pickled vegetables and a soy bourbon glaze. Fresh, light, and full of flavor. Entrées: • My wife chose the Sirloin, sliced thin and served with cowboy butter, Yukon smashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Delicious and cooked perfectly. • I ordered the 24oz Devil’s Cut Ribeye—an absolute beast of a steak. Char-grilled, seasoned to perfection, and dripping with cowboy butter. I asked for rare, it came out medium rare, but it was still fantastic—no complaints. Desserts: • My wife had the Salted Caramel Brownie—with a graham cracker crust, caramel drizzle, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. • I wrapped up with the Bourbon Bread Pudding—warm, rich, and topped with cinnamon, bourbon caramel, and vanilla ice cream. The perfect Southern finish. A couple small critiques: 1. The music was a bit too loud, which made conversations tough at times. 2. Their website and social media presence could use some love—a spot this good deserves better digital curb appeal. But here’s the bottom line: Bosscat is a whiskey enthusiast’s dream—with whiskey-inspired menu items, hidden gems of amazing pours, and décor that looks like it was plucked straight off the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We’ll be back. And next time, I’m getting two of those Whiskey Sours. — Mike “Big Chief” Hiatt Host of The Whiskey Trip Podcast

Our server EJ was awesome and we will be back specifically because of him. We ordered the short ribs which were tender and flavorful, the brick chicken was moist and packed with flavor as well. Smoked old fashioned was good but not great, too sweet and not enough bourbon for a $25 drink.

My wife had been trying to take me here for quite a while. She finally got her chance to treat me to this experience for Father's Day. The pork chop was delicious, and the cheesy corn was also fantastic. The side of green beans with mushrooms was also a nice side as well. The interior design of this location was very nice and offered a private event area with a wall of bourbon and other bottles. We'll be back to try some other menu options, because there is plenty more that are unique.

Really enjoy my experience. The staff was friendly and happy to discuss menus for food, cocktails, wine and their extensive and quite impressive whiskey selection. Started with an old fashion using a rye recommended by the bartenders and it was fantastic. Moved to some great wine and ordered the glazed pork chop and crispy bread. Pork chop had a ton of flavor, although a bit dry for me. The corn and green beans were so good! I shouldn’t have ordered the crispy bread but damn! It was freaking off the charts good. So a great dinner here and I will be back.

Went here on a little date. Super cool vibes. The bartender was so nice and informative he suggested the meatballs, and they were . I had the chicken plabona soup and side salad. The music was really good and the atmosphere was lite and fun. Will definitely be back and bring some friends.
